Deep Dive

The automation pattern nobody talks about

Most people think AI automation means chatbots. Wrong.

The real pattern is: trigger → process → deliver. Something happens (a new email, a scheduled time, a file change), AI processes it (summarizes, generates, transforms), and the result gets delivered somewhere (Slack, email, a database).

Every automation I've built follows this exact pattern. My morning brief? Triggered by cron at 9am, processed by Gemini, delivered to Slack. My comment monitor? Triggered every 15 minutes, processed by keyword matching, delivered as a DM.

Once you see this pattern, you can automate anything. Stop thinking about AI as a chat interface. Start thinking about it as a worker that responds to triggers.

Stop reading newsletters. Go build something.
